✨Why did you choose cosmetology school?
I want to help people who are less fortunate.
✨What was one of your ah hah moments?
My ah ha moment was when a client came in with beautiful long hair, she lifted it up and at her nape her hair was matted. After I got her hair back to normal, she told me she didn’t feel a thing, that’s when I knew this was my passion.
✨What does life look like after school?
When I finish school, I see myself volunteering at places where people need haircuts, de-matting, and wash services.
✨What advice would you give to someone looking into cosmetology school?
The advice I would give someone looking into cosmetology school is: “If they are someone who gives 100% effort and passion into things naturally, then they would thrive in cosmetology school”

✨What made you decide on cosmetology school & pick International Institute of Cosmetology?
Like many others I’ve always loved all things beauty. “I was like there’s no other choice I would actually enjoy” When I looked at cosmetology schools near me, IIC came up. A relative of mine attended International Institute of Cosmetology and recommended it.
✨My Ah hah moments in school were:
This isn’t my “first” one, but I just had one very recently when I was coloring a friend’s hair. I finished her blowout, and she goes “WOW I love it” with a big smile on her face and it was just like “yup, I want to do this, I want to keep doing this”.
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
I see myself working in a salon that fits my personality as well as taking lots of clients. I’m still a bit unsure of what I want to specialize in, but i’m figuring it out.
✨What advice would you give someone looking into cosmetology school?
“ I say If you have any passion for it, do it. That’s all (it’s worth it)”
