IIC Nail Technician graduate.
✨ How did you get started as a nail technician?
I joined the International Institute of Cosmetology Nail Program with hopes on expanding the services that I can provide to clients as well as gaining new techniques and skills to improve my work. I really enjoyed the program structure especially with our amazing teacher Ms. Rosie. She always did her best to guide us through the material. She was very hands on which made the process 100 times better. I also enjoyed all the friendships I made along the way!
✨How are you building your clientele?
My instagram name @nailedbyashjuli is a combination of my first and middle name and of course “nailed” because I will slay your nails ! At the moment I am doing nails at my University as a side hustle but I would love to open up my own salon in the future. I also do nails in my hometown Berlin, CT.
✨ What do you love to do most with nails?
My specialties include: Regular gel manicures, hard gel manicures, gel-x, acrylic overlays and extensions and BIAB! I also love nail art especially 3-D nail art and charms!
✨What advice do you have for someone looking to start Nail School?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help and try new things. This program is meant to help you improve. Experimenting with different styles and techniques will only help you get better! Always go to Ms. Rosie or even your classmates for help and advice! Make sure to make friends while you’re at it 🙂
