✨What made you decide on cosmetology & come to International Institute of Cosmetology?
I decided to do cosmetology because I’ve always loved everything revolving around hair, makeup, nails and hair color. I decided to come to International Institute of Cosmetology because I knew a few hairstylists that have previously graduated from here and loved it! I knew it was the fit for me!
✨My Ah Hah moments in school were:
When I first got my hair done! I have naturally curly hair and when I found out the proper way to take care of it, I knew I wanted to help other people take care of their hair too!
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
Hopefully, I will be at a salon, either assisting or helping! Overall, I would love to be somewhere and watch myself grow as a stylist!
✨What advice would you give someone looking into Cosmetology school?
-Just do it! In just under a year, I have learned so much and have made many best friends! It is a life changing experience.

✨What made you decide on cosmetology school and attend International Institute of Cosmetology?
I decided to go to cosmetology school because I’m naturally creative and interested in the beauty industry. I took the risk and decided to start. I’m glad I did. Honestly, I looked at the website for International Institute of Cosmetology and it looked supportive.
✨My Ah Hah moments in school were:
When I bring in my friends in and I get to do something really creative. There is a time I got to do purple ghost roots on my friend and I loved it! I like seeing the reaction on peoples faces when I get to create something for them!
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
Hopefully in a salon shadowing or assisting other stylists. I want to keep learning with structure and learn more advanced techniques.
✨What advice would you give someone looking in to Cosmetology school?
Be motivated and know what you want. Because I’m passionate, I’m able to keep practicing to get better. Keep to yourself and there isn’t drama. Push yourself to do more!
