Recently we interviewed Ms. Corrah and she told us a little bit about her beauty brand Rose Beauty Cosmetics.
Our Interview
I am a cosmetologist & entrepreneur. I specialize in hair color, hair cutting and makeup.
✨What was the inspiration behind your brand?
My brand (Rose Beauty Cosmetics) @rosebcosmetics was inspired after my late father who was also an entrepreneur. My brand was established in remembrance to keep his legacy alive. Rose beauty cosmetics was named after my father. Not only was I inspired by my father but my goal was to create products that I can use on my clients. I also love to cater to all communities making sure everyone looks and feels beautiful.
✨What are some products in your line?
My favorite products are my lip glosses because they are comfortable and light weight. I have over 30 lipsticks and lipglosses so it’s hard to choose but my brand is full of many makeup products.
✨What advice would you give someone looking to start their own beauty brand?
My advice would be to use google to research while testing multiple vendors until you find the perfect formula. Don’t be afraid to lose out on money and remember it’s all about trial and error. Your brand wont blow up over night but remember to stay consistent and try not to get discouraged . Don’t compare yourself to anyone especially on social media because many don’t show the ups and downs or failures when it’s comes to starting a brand so remember what’s for you will always be meant for you.
