✨ What made you decide to come to cosmetology school and choose International Institute of Cosmetology ?
I decided to come to cosmetology school because I’ve been doing hair since I was in middle school. I always could do hair but kind of put it on the back burner due to me working in retail for all these years. I finally took a leap of faith and found IIC and liked everything I saw so I chose this school.
✨ What was one of your aha moments while you were in school?
One of my ah hah moments in school would be when I learned how to do a pixie cut and realized I’ll be able to offer all types of services and not just limit myself.
✨ Where do you see yourself after cosmetology school?
I see myself after cosmetology school working at a salon to gain more knowledge and experience with all different textures, and also offering services to people in nursing homes.
✨ What kind of advice would you give someone looking into cosmetology school?
Advice I would give to someone looking into cosmetology school would be DO IT! Don’t be scared and make sure you soak up everything you can while in school.
