The International Institute of Cosmetology recognizes Jessica Santiago as our Plainville Campus September student of the month!
Jessica’s cosmetology educator Lexi Del Monaco Lough describes Jessica as:
- Dedicated
- Kind
- Selfless
- Humble
Jessica explained that IIC was perfect for providing both a makeup program and cosmetology school all in one campus. Having already attended the makeup program and growing to know the staff, Jessica knew that the cosmetology program was a great fit to grow her experience! Jessica explained that this field warrants giving back to others and helping them find confidence in themselves.
Jessica is expected to graduate in October and plans to seek a job at a salon post graduation all while building clientele. The International Institute of Cosmetology, once again, would love to congratulate Jessica Santiago with this esteemed accomplishment and wishes the best in all future plans!

The International Institute of Cosmetology would love to congratulate Allison Gunther for receiving September student of the month at the Wethersfield Campus!
Allison’s educator Karen Schwartz describes Allison as possessing the following traits:
- Inquisitive
- Has a passion for learning
- Is in love with balayages and foilayages
- Has a strong level of perseverance
Allison explained that IIC was the right fit considering the small class sizes and hands-on experience gained throughout the course. This field was the perfect fit for Allison considering its freedom of artistic expression and a level of creativity that allows the clients to feel good about themselves.
Allison is expected to graduate on Halloween and plans to continue growing passionately working on bridal hair and foilayages at Larissa Lake and Co. located in Wethersfield Connecticut! IIC wishes Allison the best of luck in all future endeavors!!
