✨Why did you choose cosmetology school?
Since I was 12 I liked doing my friends makeup. I only saw myself doing this and nothing else interested me. International Institute of Cosmetology has an easy process to get started. The teachers are welcoming and it’s a hands-on school that lets me be creative.
✨What was one of your ah hah moments?
My Ah Hah moment was when I got my 1st dm on instagram and they wanted me to do a partial highlight. They found me because I post a lot on my stories. I post hair and makeup and enjoy sharing what I do on social media.
✨What does life look like after school?
I see myself specializing in lived in looks and brunette balayages. I like doing long hair haircuts.
✨What advice would you give to someone looking into cosmetology school?
I would tell someone getting into to this profession to stick it out. There are times you get burnt out but see it through. You can do some cool things with hair. When I would feel stuck, I would start working on something I enjoy doing like updos to keep myself going because I get joy from creating new things.

I always had a passion for doing hair and making others feel good about themselves. I enrolled at International Institute of Cosmetology because the school aligns with my passion for hair and creativity.
✨What was one of your ah hah moments?
My Ah Hah moment was when I started taking clients on the salon floor and I received so much good feedback from them as well as them wanting to rebook with me. It gave me the confidence to continue and realize that I will be successful out of school.
✨What does life look like after school?
I see myself specializing in all blonding, specialty colors, and extension services at a high end salon.
✨What advice would you give to someone looking into cosmetology school?
I would tell someone getting in this profession to never give up, following your dreams is never a mistake. It’s worth it to be doing what you love.
