✨What made you decide cosmetology & go to IIC?
I’ve always known since high school that I was going to do hair. It’s been my passion since the beginning and I’m striving to be the best I can be. And I knew going to IIC would be the best for me to learn the most I possibly can and help me be successful when I graduate.
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
When I finish school I see myself doing cuts specifically. Cutting has always been my go to, but I am open to continue learning everything with hair.
✨What advice would you give someone looking into Cosmetology school?
Some advice I’d give to someone going into this cosmetology school is to be open to everything and not limit yourself to only one thing. Learn everything and put effort into everything you’re learning to find other things you might enjoy doing.

✨What made you decide cosmetology & go to IIC?
I have been doing hair and make up for 15+ years and now that I’m getting older , I decided that it was time to home in on one of my passions and really become a master at it. I chose IIC because of its stellar reputation. It was a full circle moment for me coming here . My first high-end haircut was when I was a young teen at the first Gugliotti salon in Hartford . “I’ll never forget that experience.”
✨My Ah Hah moments in school were (time you realized this is what you should be doing)?
I already knew that this is something that I should be doing , my calling! I love it when I turn my chair, and the client is stunned with joy. “The moment I let down that last pinned up roll, the gasp , it gets me every time!”
✨Where do you see yourself when you finish school?
When I’m done with school , I see myself working at a high-end salon or going into business for myself . I’m ready to spread my wings and dominate this industry!
I’m a transformation artist. When someone wants a new look and that brand new car feeling from the inside , I’m your girl!
I offer everything from men’s cuts to all types of color . Perms …?
✨What advice would you give someone looking into Cosmetology school?
If I had to give anyone advice about cosmetology school, it would be to really get informed and make sure you’re ready to take on this career. Time is precious and shouldn’t be wasted .
If so , never stop educating yourself! Do not be hard yourself , never give up and when you fail , face it! Over and over and over again til you can provide that service with your eyes closed and on your death bed!
Hair is a form of art! It’s literally transformative. Not just for your client’s mind body and hair but it’s transformative for you too!
