SOCIAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION– FULL TIME
International Institute of Cosmetology is looking for an energetic Social Media Associate with great communication skills. Someone able to capture organic content and edit it to be used across our social media accounts. Candidate should be someone who is up on current social media trends and can be a self starter.

Experience:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook/Threads, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions
  • Conduct market research to identify target audience and optimize social media content accordingly
  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing

Skills:

  • Proficient in social media marketing strategies and tactics
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure accurate and error-free content
  • Experience with advertising on social media platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Familiarity with graphic/video editing software/apps
  • Basic photography/videography skills to capture high-quality images for social media posts
  • Knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social to schedule and monitor posts
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and SEM
  • Familiarity with beauty/art/education industry a plus
  • Ability to perform social listening and responding to monitor brand mentions, customer feedback, and industry trends
