Hale’s Barber Shop

We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair and grooming services to clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and fostering a welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills while building lasting relationships with clients.

We are a very busy shop in the heart of downtown Coventry. No clientele required.

Ability to use a straight razor is a plus, but if you can’t, we will train the right person.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, shaving.
• Utilize a straight razor shaving to achieve desired looks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
• Educate clients on hair care products and techniques, promoting retail sales within the shop.
• knowledgeable and best practices in barbering and styling.
• Manage appointments using Square or similar scheduling software to ensure efficient service delivery.

Skills

• Proficient in various hairstyling techniques including barbering, shaves, beard shaping.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Retail sales experience is a plus, helping to promote products that enhance client satisfaction.
