Batik Salon is an upscale hair salon that has been serving the South Windsor community and surrounding towns for more than 25 years. We have a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing our guests with beautiful hair & exceptional service in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Job Description: Assistant / Salon Support Staff
* Greet and attend to client's comfort
* Shampoo as well as provide hair and scalp treatments
* Provide support for our stylists with a multitude of daily tasks
* Salon sanitation and disinfection
* Maintain laundry
* General housekeeping

We are hiring a dependable and hard-working individual who is organized and eager to learn.
Multi-tasking is a must for this fast-paced, active, and personable environment. Being able to take direction and change pace moment to moment is key to a successful placement within our team.
All on-the-job training will be provided by the Batik Salon management team.

Part-time hours include: (Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays)
* Tuesday 11 AM - 5 PM
* Wednesday 12 PM – 8 PM
* Thursday 1 PM - 8 PM
* Friday 11 AM – 6 PM
* Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM

A valid driver’s license and dependable means of transportation is required.
A high school diploma, GED equivalent, or a cosmetology license is beneficial but not required.
