Salon Assistant

Assistant position (part time) OR Full time chair rental

Assistant position:

- Flexible hours, up to 30 hrs per 2 weeks                                                                                                        - Pay is every other week                                                                                                                                      - Minimum wage plus tips (commission options available)

Requirements:

- Licensed professionals (or getting their license) only

- Ready to take clients immediately if necessary,

Responsibilities:
- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
- Consult with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Handle cash transactions and book appointments using salon software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles and techniques for hair care and styling
- Familiarity with barbering techniques for men's grooming services
