ABOUT THE EDUCATORS
Jessica Alnaqeeb-Gonzalez
Licensed Esthetician and Eyelash Technician
Jessica Gonzalez, a multi-certified lash master since 2006; started her career with Novalash, Inc. the first pioneers in the lash industry in America prior to becoming the world recognized leader in products and training. Invited in 2006 to be Novalash’s Connecticut and Rhode Island lash educator. With so many great lash products in the market, Jessica wanted to focus on training students in the areas most important in the lashing industry and the art of application. In 2018, Jessica partnered with International Institute Of Cosmetology in Connecticut curating the eyelash extension course.
Mathena Rossa-Gahr
Makeup Educator
Mathena is a Makeup Academy Alumni and is currently teaching Airbrush Makeup and SFX Makeup. Since her training at International Institute of Cosmetology, she fell in love with more skills and became interested in teaching future makeup lovers. Her specialties include airbrush makeup, special effects and bridal glam. Mathena also works at Gugliottis Salon doing bridal and event makeup.

Why these workshops and not another online course?
These classes combine theory instruction with supervised practical hands on instruction that you cannot receive from just an online course.
Why should I choose these eyelash classes and not other vendors?
One big factor is you can GET DUAL CERTIFICATION! Through our Academic Partnership with Sugarlash, students are able to receive certification from IIC and Sugarlash. Also IIC has been in the beauty education space since 2002 and its highly trained staff ensures a top tier educational experience. Dual certification will require student to submit the certification requirements directly to Sugarlash online academy.
